Dr. Natalia Nowakowska

Associate Doctor

Dr. Natalia  Nowakowska  had graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University  of  Toronto in 2010. She has specialized in both ocular pathology and therapeutics graduating in 2014 with an Honours Masters Degree in Optometry from Aston University  in  Birmingham,  United Kingdom.  Dr. Nowakowska completed a one year internship working in both private practice as well as at the NHS York Hospital Ophthalmology department in England, United Kingdom.

She worked in diverse departments including, binocular vision, pediatric optometry as well as ocular health and surgery alongside an Ophthalmologist.  Dr. Nowakowska took part in various campaigns promoting the importance of optimal vision care including the Retinoblastoma campaign to raise funds for those children affected.   

In 2015 upon completing her internship she had moved to Lincoln, United Kingdom and taken on a resident Optometrist position working in her community.  She also became a member of the College of Optometrists as well as the Association of Optometrists in England, United Kingdom.  

Upon her return to Canada she had worked at a Toronto Family Optometry clinic. During this time she participated in the training camp for the Toronto Maple Leafs screening the vision of the players. Dr. Nowakowska had successfully completed the Optometry conversion program at the University of Waterloo in 2016. Upon graduation she had become a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the College of Optometrists of Ontario.

Dr. Nowakowska is very passionate about eye health and has a strong interest in research and new treatment modalities. She is very excited to be working in her community to promote eye health importance and to provide optimal vision care for her patients.
